Spiritual

Last semester, was a time of work turmoil for me. New position means additional roles and responsibilities which are equivalent to multiple stressors. Nonetheless, God made it through for special reasons and I'm happy with it. At least, I have matured and have learned along the way.

A big shift came after the month of March, of which I have my teacher's leave. From the speedy and hectic schedules to a laid back vacation. Yet, I still have tutorials for two days in a week. What a relief! Plans racing on my list, of enrolling for another master's degree, or learning how to play violin or starting my thesis. However, none of those happened. It all started when I attended the Family Camp last April, my priorities are then changed to seeking those things from above, the eternal ones. This time, I have to go back to my Daily in the Word Diary. Looking for Bible Study Lessons that will fit me and encourage me to do more for God's glory. It fires me more to study deeper on the Bible when I unintentionally clicked this link from somewhere I couldn't recall. . http://kjvhearthelps.com/freebibleresources.html. The HEART Ministry. There are long list of topical lessons. Looking at a glance, I was thinking it will be a boring one. However, every night as I study and answer each numbers, I couldn't help but be in awe with the promises from the Bible. The lessons put a big slant on my Bible study. Daily, I get so excited to study more and learn more that I could not help but share it to my students. Lately, I am sharing the Prayer Lessons to the young ladies in church.

I guess, I still have to postpone my plans of pursuing another master's degree. This time, I still have to master   the books of all books- the Bible. Before I get myself to the worldly knowledge that has been polluted, I should be grounded with the strong foundations and principles from the Omniscient God. Thesis-making can wait, after all it says in the Bible,

And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
--Ecclesiastes 12:12

See? Earthly wisdom brings your more weariness and should I say much STRESS! Yet, with the wisdom  from God, gives more happiness and joy. You will be inspired doubly revived and rejuvenated.

Let me end with the words from Daniel Webster, "Education is useless without the Bible".
